STEP 2 - SUBMIT YOUR NOTARY BOND PACKAGE ORDER FORM AND WE WILL PROCESS YOUR NOTARY BOND.
Once we receive your order online, by fax or mail we will process your notary bond package. Your notary bond and supplies will be mailed directly to you.
Please allow ample time to receive your new official stamp seal due to the fact that it needs to be personalized and manufactured.
Once you receive your notary bond, supplies and new official stamp seal you MUST proceed to STEP 3.
STEP 3 - DOWNLOAD AND COMPLETE THE KANSAS NOTARY PUBLIC APPLICATION.
Below is the link to download and complete the Kansas notary public application. NOTE: Please be sure to read the detailed instructions included with the application.

Complete the Kansas notary public application according to the instructions provided. You will need to contact a commissioned notary public in your area to witness and notarize your signature on the notary public application. When this is complete proceed to STEP 4.
STEP 4 - SUBMIT YOUR FORMS TO THE SECRETARY OF STATE'S OFFICE.
After completing your notary public application you must mail it, and a check or money order in the amount of $25.00 (filing fee) made payable to the Secretary of State, to the following address.

STEP 5 - WAIT FOR THE SECRETARY OF STATE'S OFFICE TO SUBMIT YOUR CERTIFICATE OF APPOINTMENT.
Once the Secretary of State's Office receives all your completed forms and payment they will review your information. If and when they approve you as a notary they will prepare a certificate of appointment for you and then forward the appointment by mail directly to your residence address.
The certificate of appointment will have your name and the date upon which your appointment will expire. Since you already purchased all your required supplies in STEP 1, once you receive the certificate of appointment from the Secretary of State's Office you will be an official notary public for the State of Kansas and are authorized to begin your notarial duties.
