STEP 3 - REVIEW YOUR NOTARY PUBLIC APPLICATION, NOTARY BOND AND SUBMIT THE FORMS.
Once you receive your $10,000 notary bond package from us via U.S. mail you will need to review your notary bond and Washington notary public application and make sure it is correct and complete. You must now submit the following to the Department of Licensing:
1) Your completed notary public application
2) A copy of the notary bond (keep the original for your records)
3) A $30.00 application fee (check or money order made payable to Department of Licensing)

Once you have sent in your forms to the Department of Licensing you will need to wait for the Department of Licensing to send your commission materials (notary public certificate) to you before proceeding to STEP 4.
STEP 4 - SEND US A COPY OF YOUR NOTARY PUBLIC CERTIFICATE SO WE CAN ORDER YOUR OFFICIAL STAMP SEAL.
Once the Department of Licensing approves your appointment they will send you a notary public certificate via U.S. mail. We will need a copy of that notary public certificate faxed or emailed to us as soon as possible so we can order your new official stamp seal. Please allow ample time to receive your new official stamp seal due to the fact it must be personalized and manufactured. Please do not delay!

STATE OF WASHINGTON NOTARY REQUIREMENTS
ELIGIBILITY
Minimum Age: 18 years.
Washington Resident: Yes.
Jurisdiction: State of Washington.
Mimimum Residency: None.
Non-Residents: Yes. Only if you live in Idaho or Oregon while employed regularly in Washington or doing business in Washington.
Criminal Offense: A notary public commits official misconduct when he or she signs a certificate evidencing a notarial act while knowing that the contents of the certificate are false. Official misconduct also constitutes unprofessional conduct for which disciplinary action may be taken. A notary public who commits an act of official misconduct shall be guilty of a gross misdemeanor.
PROVISIONS
Term: 4 years.
Bond Requirement: Required. $10,000 notary bond.
Notary Seal Requirement: Required. Notary Seal or Stamp. Embosser or inked stamp.
Education/Testing: None required.
Recording Journal: Strongly recommended by Washington Notary Association Co.
