An individual must meet the following criteria to be appointed as a Wyoming notary public or renew your current notary public commission:
- You should be at least 18 years of age.
- You should be a resident of the State of Wyoming and the county from which you are making the application.
- You should be able to read and write the English language.
- A felon is not eligible for appointment as a notary public.
A notary in the state of Wyoming is appointed for a period of four years. If you wish to continue to be a notary in the state of Wyoming after four years, you must renew your notary appointment.
